BURNS Cobra

This design originates from the popular Drfiter Custom model with matching colour batwing style headstocks.

It features the new Burns knife edge tremolo system and has the low noise, high output Burns Tri-sonic single coil pickups. Standard features are the bi-directional truss rod and the push-pull tone control that gives increased pick-up selections.

The guitar is available with a rosewood fingerboard, split three-ply mint green scratchplates and a choice of body colours.

**Sunburst (SFX 2) The Sunburst Flatop Series** is much like the Hamer Sunburst except for its flat top beveled edge around the body. Without quesiton, these guitars play as good as they look. The SFX Series also features a Basswood body, Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. Two humbucker pickups and a 3-way toggle switch give you all the sound combinations you'll need to play any gig.

The Story

Through collaboration, Luthier Carl Thomson and Stanley Clarke are credited for inventing the Piccolo (one octave higher) lead-bass guitar. Since those early years of its inception, Stanley has been busy playing the majority of the Piccolo bass designs out there.

Always trying to refine the instrument, Stanley and Lieber would often convey to one another the different attributes they believed a Piccolo Bass designed from the ground up would have.

The Spellbinder Mando-Piccolo Bass is an instrument with the traditional classic design Lieber and Clarke had been searching for, it is the newest breed of good sounding, fun to play basses for your personal collection.
