The Story

Here is the information for the Spellbinder Bass II, the new edition of the
much acclaimed Spellbinder by Stanley Clarke and Tom Lieber.

It has been 27 years since the acclaimed limited run of the original
Spellbinder Bass Guitar. The New Spellbinder Bass II finds its roots steeped
deeply within its predecessor. However, there are a few changes to this
incarnation.

Our updated version employs a unique wood construction sound block design
that delivers extraordinary focus to the string and neck vibration. The 24
fret, 34 inch scale integrates classic ornamental design elements with a
solid, balanced feel.

A limited run of 125 basses will be created. All instruments will be
personally signed, dated and serial numbered by Musician/Bassist Stanley
Clarke, Luthier/Designer Thomas Lieber, and Luthier/Builder Rick Turner. A
collaboration unequaled within the industry. Stanley and Thomas (Spellbinder
Corp.) share a long history with Rick and welcome the opportunity to be
working with him through his engineering and building of the Spellbinder
Bass II.

A custom, highly versatile pickup and wiring scheme, designed by Clarke,
Lieber and Kent Armstrong, rounds out the Spellbinder II, making it a true
player's instrument.

Serial number allocation will be based upon time of order placement. Full
purchase price is due upon ordering. The 125 instruments will be built in
small runs to ensure the highest standards of quality.

A custom Spellbinder case is included, along with Certificate of
Authenticity.
